The bases grey color is a mix of 50/50 gloss black and gloss Dartford Grey, I then flattened this mix 50% , thinned and sprayed

Here's a picture of the upper plenum back in place. I decided to glue it, not weld it in.

I have heard glue is the way to go if you want to avoid any distortion and just as strong as welding

Now that the weather is starting to warm up I can get back into painting my car. I managed to get the roof and wheels painted last weekend.

I’ve trial fitted the rear seat recently, looks like theres a noticeable gap between the base and the back, I’m probably going to have to add more foam in there to hopefully close up the gap. Apart from this the seats fit really well.

Good to see you're back on it. The seat looks in real good nick - is it original or is it new material?

Cheers,

John

The seat covers and door cards I got from Winners in SA. I’ve had a go at covering the seats myself, it’s gone relatively easily for my first attempt, but not yet what i’d call 100% perfect.
