Ray's VAN!

by Ray » Mon Sep 04, 2017 11:07 pm

I picked up an EJ Panel Van in April 17'

It came up at the wrong time, but close to home and the condition of the body (rust wise) was too good to pass up.

Here are a few pics from the day I got it home

Nice van Ray. I saw your window patching on FB, and am very impressed with the workmanship. Looks great.
You were lucky in a sense, that those porthole windows didn't require the internal braces to be cut out. When normal windows are cut in, the front and rear side braces are cut out on each side. Mine is like that.

Cheers mate...

yeah more pictures of the window repairs will come on here soon...

yes you are correct, my inner supports were original and untouched... i have since removed them to correctly straighten the entire side... i am in the process of making new ones. not that the old ones were damaged but i plan on making new ones that are indistinguishable form the original ones. if you need any supports ill have some new ones for sale sometime in the near future.
