Can anyone help me out with the way the clips go on the body moulds?

i'm not to sure if the clip in the first photo is right.

the one in the first photo looks good if u look at the second one you will see that the bolt does not not sit centre of the strip, that is the issue with the repro clips

Thanks Doc. do u think they could be replaced with these other clips from rare spares?

thats what i did for the sons ej we got clips and modified them all

That second clip is in wrong. It should be turned as far clockwise as possible with the spring tail holding it there. It can only be centred then as it will be on both of the cam ends of the clip.
