Headlight switch wiring

by Logan27 » Fri Jan 30, 2015 6:58 pm

Does anyone know why the head light switch has 2 power feeds? Obviously one is to feed the head lights but the second has me stumped. It's a grey cable 3 amp feed on the wiring diagram. I thought it might be something to do with the interior light??

The grey wire powers the instrument cluster illuminating lights and the interior lights when activated by twisting the headlight switch by the wiring diagram ???

Hcap, my diagram doesn't show how the dash light are illuminated at all! I think your on the right track though. I thought it might power the interior light if the ignition is off??
Blur, the grey wire comes off the fuse block into the headlight switch, through a resistor and then up to the interior light.
