Warmaride Heater Rebuild

by utility8 » Sat Feb 18, 2017 6:58 pm

Thought I'd post a few pics of some Warmaride heaters I've rebuilt recently.
I've been doing these for over 20 years & can sort out any problems you may have with your heater.
I don't sell these outright or do changeover units as the quality/completeness of the heaters I receive varies so much. I prefer to rebuild your actual heater.
Each of these has had a full rebuild including new valves, reco cores, fan motors stripped down.
These ones got complete bead blast, etch & paint as well.
Get in contact with me if you need any info, work done or parts.

I'd recommend John for the quality of his work. Quite a few years ago, I wrote an Enthusiast's Guide for Warmaride heaters:

John gave me a hand with the heater valve override process (I still owe him a beer).

I've seen guys who can operate a wire wheel and rattle can, and believe that they are rebuild experts. John is not one of those guys - his work is well thought through, and meticulous. Highly recommended.

Cheers,
Harv

Have just managed to get the top flap spring reproduced, perfect copy.
So now, along with the repro rubber pivots, the top flaps can be reinsatated.
The top alloy flap allows the cabin air to recirculate through the heater when the air vent is closed.
