The joys of reassembly after all the years in pieces, wanted to. Finish the head light install but can’t find one of the bucket hold in springs! I know it somewhere as I cleaned it up two weeks ago!

Clips oh dear cannot buy the clips that hold the top piece of chrome on the ej grille.
Perhaps someone may be able to help with some new old stock they may have?? I need 8 clips.
In the meantime I had a go at making a clip. Using 1 mm mild steel, I bent and then cut with a jewellers saw. Not bad for first attempt, and if I have to make them I can make a dolly up to help with the correct internal dimensions and folded sides. Anyhow if I old get some new old stock??? Not available at rarespares or earlybitz attached is a photo original clip and my first attempt.
Ps I also need the wire clips that hold the chrome on around the wiper grilles in the top panel in front of the windscreen these are not available either.

The EJ grille clips (7421244) look really similar to the FE/FC seat side trim clips (7410196) that Pete Mallaby makes:

Pete is on the FE/FC forum, and is good people:

They are also similar to the FB/EK seat side trim clips (7412869). From memory, Sam Crupi makes these in stainless. Sam is also damn good to deal with.
